Generic Sublingual Viagra Pro (sildenafil) is used to relax the muscles of and increase the blood flow to the penis, thereby achieving an erection upon sexual stimulus.

Generic Sublingual Viagra Pro is intended for men 65 years and older who have problems in getting an erection. If you are taking Generic Sublingual Viagra Pro for the first time, it is strongly recommended that you start with the lowest dosage of the drug.

How to take

Follow your doctor’s instructions religiously when taking the Generic Sublingual Viagra Pro. Take the tablet out of its package and place it under your tongue. This way it will be absorbed directly in the blood stream.

Take the Generic Sublingual Viagra Pro about 30-60 minutes before planned sexual activity. Do not exceed the recommended dosage of one tablet in 24 hours. Taking the Generic Sublingual Viagra Pro does not guarantee an erection.

Do not take larger or smaller amounts of the medication, or use it for longer than recommended.

Side effects

Get emergency medical help if you have any of these signs of an allergic reaction: hives; difficulty breathing; swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat. During sexual activity, if you become dizzy or nauseated, or have pain, numbness, or tingling in your chest, arms, neck, or jaw, stop and call your doctor right away. You could be having a serious side effect of Generic Sublingual Viagra.

Stop using Generic Sublingual Viagra and call your doctor at once if you have a serious side effect such as:

  • sudden vision loss;
  • ringing in your ears, or sudden hearing loss;
  • chest pain or heavy feeling, pain spreading to the arm or shoulder, nausea, sweating, general ill feeling;
  • irregular heartbeat;
  • swelling in your hands, ankles, or feet;
  • shortness of breath;
  • vision changes;
  • feeling light-headed, fainting; or
  • penis erection that is painful or lasts 4 hours or longer.

Less serious Generic Sublingual Viagra side effects may include:

  • warmth or redness in your face, neck, or chest;
  • stuffy nose;
  • headache;
  • memory problems;
  • upset stomach; or
  • back pain.

This is not a complete list of side effects and others may occur.


Do not take Generic Sublingual Viagra Pro if you are also taking nitrate-based medications treating chest pain or heart problems. Before taking Generic Sublingual Viagra Pro, speak to your doctor and make sure your physical health permits it. It is highly recommended that you speak to your doctor before taking this medication, especially if you have any of the following conditions:

  • Heart disease or heart rhythm disorders;
  • You were advised not to have sexual intercourse for health reasons;
  • Liver or kidney disease;
  • You have had a heart attack, stroke or heart failure in the past 6 months;
  • High or low blood pressure;
  • Sickle cell anemia, leukemia or other blood cell disorders;
  • Hemophilia or other bleeding conditions;
  • If you have a stomach ulcer;
  • If you have an inherited eye disorder such as retinitis pigmentosa;
  • If you have some physical deformity of the penis

Avoid drinking alcohol while on Generic Sublingual Viagra Pro, as this may increase possible side effects. Avoid taking other medications used to treat impotence at the same time of taking this medication, without first talking about these with your doctor. Do not drive, operate machinery or do anything that could be dangerous until you know how your body reacts to this medicine. You should remember to sit up or stand slowly when rising from a seated or lying position while on this medication.

Drug interactions

Do not take Generic Sublingual Viagra Pro with similar medications such as avanafil (Stendra), tadalafil (Cialis) or vardenafil (Levitra). Tell your doctor about all other medications you use for erectile dysfunction.

Tell your doctor about all other medicines you use, especially:

  • bosentan (Tracleer);
  • cimetidine (Tagamet, Tagamet HB);
  • conivaptan (Vaprisol);
  • imatinib (Gleevec);
  • isoniazid (for treating tuberculosis);
  • an antidepressant such as nefazodone;
  • an antibiotic such as clarithromycin (Biaxin), erythromycin (E.E.S., EryPed, Ery-Tab, Erythrocin, Pediazole), rifampin (Rifater, Rifadin, Rifamate), or telithromycin (Ketek);
  • antifungal medication such as itraconazole (Sporanox), ketoconazole (Nizoral), or voriconazole (Vfend);
  • drugs to treat high blood pressure or a prostate disorder, such as alfuzosin (Uroxatral), doxazosin (Cardura), prazosin (Minipress), terazosin (Hytrin), silodosin (Rapaflo), tamsulosin (Flomax, Jalyn);
  • heart or blood pressure medication such as amlodipine (Norvasc, Caduet, Exforge, Lotrel, Tekamlo, Tribenzor, Twynsta, Amturnide), diltiazem (Cardizem, Cartia, Dilacor, Diltia, Diltzac, Taztia, Tiazac), nicardipine (Cardene), quinidine (Quin-G), or verapamil (Calan, Covera, Isoptin, Verelan);
  • the hepatitis C medications boceprevir (Victrelis) or telaprevir (Incivek); or
  • HIV/AIDS medicine such as atazanavir (Reyataz), darunavir (Prezista), fosamprenavir (Lexiva), indinavir (Crixivan), nelfinavir (Viracept), ritonavir (Kaletra, Norvir), saquinavir (Fortovase), or tipranavir (Aptivus).

This list is not complete and there may be other drugs that can interact with Generic Sublingual Viagra Pro.

Missed dose

Generic Sublingual Viagra Pro is used as needed, so you are not likely to be on a dosing schedule.
